Mr. Abhijeet Sinha

Abhijeet Sinha currently holds the distinguished position of National Program Director of Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) program and serves as the Country Director (India & UAE) at Advance Services for Social & Administrative Reforms (ASSAR). His responsibilities extend to additional charge as the Project Director for National Highways for Electric Vehicles (#NHforEV2020). Renowned as a 'Technocrat' turned 'Policy Entrepreneur,' he excels in cross-domain consulting, notably in the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) and the conceptualization of energy infrastructure innovations like Annuity Hybrid E-Mobility (AHEM) for NHEV. His transformative mobility program aims to convert National Highways and Expressways into E-Highways, complete with charging stations and public transport fleets under the EoDB program of ASSAR, supported by NITI Aayog, Ministry of Science & Technology, and 5 Cabinet Ministers.

Abhijeet Sinha's multifaceted contributions extend beyond his pivotal roles. He serves on the Board of Studies at AMITY University and as a Corporate Counsel for ENACTUS, actively advocating for youth initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Mission & Digital Bharat. His credentials include being an ISO Certified Energy Consultant owning 18 Patents till March 2018.

Previously, Abhijeet joined the Citizen for Accountable Governance (CAG) campaign led by then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Sri Narendra Modi, during the 2014 Parliamentary polls. Beginning his career in corporate banking, he transitioned to project consulting for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) initiatives, specializing in strategic policy implementation and financial models for climate and green energy projects. His tenure as Program Director at ASSAR delved into climate initiatives across several South Asian countries, further extending to projects affiliated with global bodies like UNDP, UNICEF, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and others.

Currently, Abhijeet Sinha takes an additional charge as Project Director for National Highways for Electric Vehicles, contributing significantly to the Advisory Board of the Steel Users Federation of India and the India Think Council. He holds memberships in various international business associations and serves as a facilitator for ISGF – India Smart Utility Week 2019-20. His consultancy expertise has been instrumental in supporting several flagship initiatives and programs of the Government of India.
