Ashish Singh presently holds the role of Vice President (Business Development) at KEC International Ltd since October 2018. With over 31 years of extensive experience in the Railways and Metro sectors, he has held various significant positions in the industry. Notably, he has successfully secured and managed several major projects in Metro Railways, including significant contributions to projects such as Delhi Metro and Jaipur Metro.
At KEC International Ltd., Ashish Singh's journey began as General Manager in the Railway division before ascending to the position of Vice President. His responsibilities included spearheading various critical projects and initiatives in the railway sector.
Prior to his tenure at KEC International Ltd., Ashish was associated with Pratibha Industries Ltd., where he served as Vice President. During this tenure, he led railway-related operations for Metro, Railway, and Special Projects, notably winning and executing significant underground metro projects worth Rs 2757 Cr, encompassing DMRC phase III and Jaipur Metro Depot.
His professional journey includes a significant role at Reliance Industries Ltd. as Assistant Vice President, actively involved in infrastructure development projects within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Here, he contributed to the development of various projects such as Metro, Monorail, and High-Speed Railway corridors.
Ashish Singh's early career was marked by an extensive tenure spanning over 13 years at Indian Railways, where he held diverse roles across multiple departments, including open line and construction departments. He worked with esteemed Railway undertakings like IRCON International Ltd, RITES, CORE, and RVNL, contributing significantly to a wide array of railway projects, ranging from new line construction to electrification projects and infrastructure development.
Beginning his professional journey, Ashish worked as a Resident Engineer at M L Dalmiya & Company Ltd., contributing to the construction of high-rise RCC cum steel TV tower projects for All India Radio across various locations.
His rich and varied experience across different sectors within the rail and infrastructure domain underscores his expertise, leadership, and pivotal role in executing and managing high-value projects, contributing significantly to the development of the country's transportation infrastructure.
