Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, currently serves as the Metropolitan Commissioner at MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority). An accomplished 1996 batch IAS officer from Maharashtra, he graduated from Nagpur’s Government Medical College and holds certifications in Public Finance and Chartered Financial Analysis. His diverse roles, including Commissioner at Maharashtra State Excise Department and Joint Managing Director at Maharashtra Airport Development Company, highlight his significant contributions to policy formulation, urban projects, and aviation infrastructure.
Dr. Mukherjee's career, marked by adept governance, reflects a commitment to the holistic development of Maharashtra, showcasing a blend of medical expertise, financial acumen, and administrative finesse.
The recognition, presented by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara, in presence of dignitaries from the nodal ministries, government departments, Public Sector Undertakings and prominient player from the private sectors symbolizes acknowledgment for Mr. Mukherjee's outstanding leadership and innovative contributions within the railway sector.
