Notably, after launching the indigenous Vande Bharat Express in Feb 2019, ICF initiated series production of these semi-high-speed trainsets in Aug 2022. The Vande Bharat Trainsets prioritize passenger comfort and energy efficiency, featuring interconnected coaches, distributed traction power, and inclusive amenities for persons with disabilities. ICF's success extends to Vande Metro, a short-travel intercity commuter train, and a Sleeper train for long-distance travel, both based on the Vande Bharat Platform, contributing to India's self-reliant vision and emerging as a key infrastructure for nation-building.
The recognition, presented by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara, in presence of dignitaries from the nodal ministries, government departments, Public Sector Undertakings and prominient player from the private sectors symbolizes acknowledgment for ICF's outstanding leadership and innovative contributions within the railway sector.
