New Delhi, India, December 7th, 2023 – The 3rd Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards 2023, organized by Urban Infra Group, was a significant event honoring exemplary leaders and corporates for their exceptional contributions to India's infrastructure sector.
Among the esteemed recipients was Mr. A. Sanjeeva Rao, honored as the ‘Most Innovative Rail Technology Leader of the Year' for his groundbreaking work at NAIR, reshaping rail tech with unparalleled efficiency and innovation.
Prof. A. Sanjeeva Rao, currently a Professor at NAIR, possesses a diverse academic background with programs in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Texas, Austin, and Great Lakes. Holding degrees in Public Policy and Management from IIM Bangalore and Syracuse University, he is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI, USA, and recognized as a Chartered Engineer by IEI (India). In his role at NAIR, Prof. Rao specializes in cutting-edge technologies for the railway industry, focusing on Big Data, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. His prior experience as an Additional General Manager at RVNL showcased leadership in diverse railway projects, and he received the "National Rail Award-2022" for his dedication and expertise in the field.
The recognition, presented by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara, in presence of dignitaries from the nodal ministries, government departments, Public Sector Undertakings and prominient player from the private sectors symbolizes acknowledgment for Mr. Rao's outstanding leadership and innovative contributions within the railway sector.
