With over 25 years of experience in Public Transport and Urban Mobility, Dr. Amudhan commenced his career as an Executive Engineer in Indian Government Transport, specializing in public transport and urban mobility. His remarkable journey led him to the role of Executive Director at TECHSACS, where he has made significant contributions to the development of maintenance sectors.
As an Independent Consultant and Adviser since 2016, Dr. Amudhan has collaborated with leading Indian companies such as M/s Thriveni Earthmovers and M/s Thriveni Sainik, along with RTA in Dubai and KPTC in Kuwait. His expertise spans urban mass transit operations, strategic transportation planning, transport policy development, project management, and stakeholder management.
Dr. Amudhan's commitment to the field is evident through his participation in conferences like Automechanika Dubai in 2017 and 2018. He has also represented his work in various countries, including Spain, Dubai, Kuwait, Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Institute for Supply Management (USA) and the Institute of Transportation Engineers (USA). Dr. Amudhan has contributed to notable journals, elucidating topics such as provisions for differently-abled individuals in buses, quality function deployment in bus transport organizations, and energy efficiency in urban transport.
