Mr. Nitin Kumar
Nitin is a Director with PwC and works in the Transport and Logistics sector. He has around 20 years’ experience across infrastructure implementation and consulting roles. He has extensive experience around feasibility studies, development strategy, project structuring, project financing, project development and procurement though PPP and EPC formats and contract management. He has worked and successfully delivered some marquee projects in India and abroad. He has worked extensively with Govt. of India nodal ministries for Railways, Commerce & Industries, Housing & Urban Affairs, Transport-Roads & Shipping, and its entities, World Bank, ADB, Transport ministries in Philippines, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and Afghanistan besides leading private sector clients.
He has undertaken various studies related to the development of railway lines, terminals, metro system, Transit Oriented Development, and New Cities under DMIC/NMIC corridors. He led the development of India’s first modernized railway stations through PPP and EPC route-Rani Kamlapati and Gandhinagar and formulated the project development and procurement strategy which has led to more than 50 railway stations which are now under execution stage. He also brings global experience in development and financing of the transport infrastructure projects.
He has been a panelist and speaker for various industry events in India related to government initiatives and industry demands related to railways and logistics space. He is a Civil Engineer from NIT Patna and MBA from IIT Kanpur.
