Holding a Master of Business Administration from the prestigious SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai, she has also earned a Diploma in Shipping Management from the Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping. Currently serving as the Director for both Sitara Shipping Ltd. and Astral Freight Forwarders Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai, she spearheads the NVOCC business for the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

In 2012, she realized her vision by establishing WISTA India, an association promoting women in the maritime industry.
