Mr. Vikram V. Shinde, Sr Dy Director & Head, Structural Dynamics Lab, ARAI

 


Vikram V. Shinde has been a prominent figure at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Pune, since 1994. Currently, he serves as the Senior Deputy Director and leads the Structural Dynamics Laboratory at ARAI. With a rich background in automobile engineering and a Master’s degree in Management Science, Vikram Shinde brings over three decades of experience in vehicle and component testing, validation, and product development.

  • Component & Vehicle Testing: Expertise in comprehensive vehicle testing, ensuring rigorous validation for product development.
  • Fatigue Damage Analysis & Durability: Specializes in fatigue damage analysis and the creation of accelerated durability recipes to shorten the product development cycle.
  • Test Methodology Finalization: Skilled in defining test methodologies that meet the technical standards for vehicle components and systems.
  • Structural Dynamics: Leads a state-of-the-art laboratory focusing on structural dynamics, optimizing vehicle suspension systems and other critical automotive components.
